(i) Mounting <br /> Street light pole banner signs must be mounted to the light poles <br /> with upper and lower horizontal supports; <br /> Configuration and Placement on Street Light Poles <br /> All individual street light pole banner signs: <br /> (a) must have a minimum height of not less than nine feet (9) <br /> above finished grade; <br /> (b) must be of the same dimensions; and, <br /> (c) must be placed at the same relative height and location on <br /> all street light poles. <br /> (iii) Maximum Individual Sign Surface Area <br /> Individual street light pole banner signs must not exceed the <br /> maximum dimensions of three feet six inches (Y 6") in width by <br /> eight feet(8) in height. <br /> (iv) Number <br /> Each street light pole may contain two (2) banner signs oriented <br /> perpendicular to the street. A street light pole located at an <br /> intersection of two (2) streets may contain up to four (4) banners, <br /> provided no more than two (2) banner signs may be oriented <br /> perpendicular to any individual street; and, <br /> (v) Content <br /> Street light pole banner signs are permitted to: <br /> (a) provide decoration to the streetscape; <br /> (b) identify the Northeast Neighborhood; <br /> (c) announce special events or seasons to be celebrated in the <br /> Northeast Neighborhood, the City of South Bend, or at the <br /> University of Notre Dame, the Indiana University School <br /> of Medicine, and Innovation Park at Notre Dame; and <br /> (d) include the names and logos of sponsors or product images. <br /> 41 <br />
