The samewere <br />referred to the City Civil Engineer for tabulation to be reported at 7:45 P.M. this <br />llth., day of August,1914. <br />/ Partial estimate allowed Matthias Feser Contractor for Grade, curb and <br />n/ walk on Lincoln Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 291 for.........$235.95 <br />/ Partial estimate allowed Louis Zieger, Contractor for work on Tenth Street, <br />Junder Improvement Resolution No. 2E7, for..............................:...$1,0'70.00 <br />Bond and contract for pipe sewer on Indiana Avenue from Leer Street; to ' <br />/ Marine Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 325, signed by Staples and Ackerman <br />J as principal and American Surety Company of New York as sureties was approved by the <br />Board. <br />Bond and contract for pipe sewer on Terrace and Blaine Avenue .from Woodward <br />,/ Ave. to Vassar Avenue under Improvemaent Resolution No. 32?, signed by Staples and <br />Ackerman as principal and American Surety Company of New York as sureties, was <br />approved by the Board. <br />City Attorney E. Seebirt, submitted a letter addressed to him from the <br />Chicago, Lake Shore and .South Bend Ry. Company in regard to rebate on La Salle <br />Avenue pavement. The same was read and refrred to the City Civil Engineer for in— <br />vestigation. <br />Communication received from City Attorney E. Seebirt in regard to new <br />✓ form of construction bonds. The same was read and placed on rile. <br />Communication received from The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York <br />giving Inspectors report of the furnaces in the City Hall. The same was read and <br />placed on file. <br />Petition presented to the Board for the opening of South Shapin Street <br />✓ from Prairie Avenue to Leon Court. TAe same was read and placed on rile. <br />/ Petition for a pipe sewer on Milton Avenue from Miami Street to Bowman <br />✓ Creek Trunk sewer wi= s presented to the Board. The same was read and referred to the <br />City Engineer for a resolution. <br />Petition presented to the Board for a pipe sewer on Virgina Street from <br />/Indiana Avenue to Broadway Street. The same was read and-eefrred to the City Civil <br />Engineer for investigation. <br />Communication received from Mr. H. S. Cover in regard to the widening <br />of W. Chippewa Avenue from Michigan Street to the City limits. The same was read <br />wand referred to the City Civil Engineer for investigation. <br />Permission was granted the Central Union Telephone Company to set poles <br />as follows:— To set two (2) thirty (30) foot poles on south side of the alley <br />between Walsh Street: and City ,Limits:._ Also to set two (2) thirty (30) foot <br />poles on south side of Napoleon Street between Hill and Lawrence Streets. <br />}n regard to the setting of two (2) thillty (30) foot poles on south <br />side of Luther Court, between Notre Dame and St. Francis Streets, the same was <br />,,placed on file. <br />Communication received from the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company <br />✓in regard to the number of arc lamps outside of the underground district. The same <br />was read and placed on file. <br />Communication addressed to E. M. Morris President of the Board <br />/from The Indiana & Michigan Electric Company in regard to the heating contract, was <br />read and filed. <br />
