292 <br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. <br />J The _Street Commissioner reported on the complaint received of saved on <br />sidewalk on Froward Street between Niles Avenue and Leeper Avenue. The Michigan Centre. <br />R. R. Co have no sidewalks on their right of way on south side of Howard Street, <br />west of-theirt tracks. The Board ordered a notice sent to the Michigan Central <br />R. R. Company to construct sidewalks at this pointfw ti !int.:thi-J�ty(a30) , days or same woud <br />be put in under Improvement Resolution No. 294. for Various Streets. <br />J Mr. H. S. Cover appeared before the Board in regard to South Main Street <br />from. Donmoyer Avenue south °to Leeper Road. A communication was also placed on file <br />from Mr. H. S. Cover. <br />Contractors bond for the sum of One Thousand f $11000.00)Dollars signed by <br />`� Michael Tomaszewski as principal and Chas. V. Korpaland John F. wesolowski as <br />sureties was approved by the Board. <br />The Street Commissioner reports that Mr. Kimble of the Studebaker Mfg. <br />,J Co, promises to remedy the cause of cinders washing onto the sidewalks on Sample <br />Street, along their factory. <br />The City Civil Engineer filed grades on the following alleys. <br />� Grade on alley N.,of La Salle Avenue. Also Gracie on alley west of Main Street. <br />And the same were approved by the Board. <br />Communication addressed to Mr. Rice from George William Allison, of Hope <br />1 . Presbyterian Church, of this City, in regard to ..the opening'and extension'of Ottawa <br />Court, was read and placed on file. <br />A plat of Ed. N. Shank's 2nd. Addition to River Park in the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, was presented to the Board. The same was referred back to the City <br />J Engineer for Mr. Ed. N. Shank's signature. <br />The 5th., Plat of Summitt Place Addition to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, was approved by the Board. <br />Plat of Vernon Heights Addition,(a Sub. Division of the South 3/4 of the <br />East 1/2 of the N. 1/2 of Section 34 Township 39 N. Range 2 East.) was approved by <br />the Board. <br />A lien was filed with the Board by Howell,Jones & Devine,Attorneys for <br />Dr. E. R. Dean against Rolland Adelsperger for the sum of give Hundred ($500.00) <br />Dollars. <br />President . <br />
