Weber absent. <br />f Bond a d contract for grade, curb and walk on Frances rStreet,under <br />J improvement Resolution No. 302, signed by Jolin Sidman as principal and United States <br />Fidelity & Guaranty Coripany of Baltimore; Ad. as sureties was approved by the Board. <br />The contract -or the pavement of the lst. alley west of 1vIain Street from <br />J Iviarion 'Street to Navarre Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 305, was awa.rdedto <br />H.N. Barnes with "concrete,anount of concrete ........ ....................$'849.65 <br />JPetition filed with the Board for a pipe sewer on Corby Street from <br />St. Louis Street to Niles Avenue. The same was read and referred to the City Civil <br />Engineer for investigation. <br />Petition filed with the Board for the opening oa Ottowa, Court at the <br />J Lake SlZore right of *ay to Indiana Avenue. The same rows - read,and all -action was <br />deferred on the same until Tuesday June ?-nd.,1914 at 7:45 P.M. <br />Communication received from the Health Board relative to the condition <br />J of'the sewer at"the head of Leland Avenue. The same was read and placed on file. <br />Petition and communication received relative to the unhealthy condi— <br />tion-ofthe Leland Avenue sewer where it empties into the river. The same was read <br />and placed on file. <br />The City Civil Engineer filed the following:— And the Board approved the same. <br />To the Hon. Pennsylvania , Felows and Rush <br />Streets on the south side of alley. <br />Conimunicatio-i received from the Johnson Construction Company of Criicago, <br />relative to check placed with bid on Cedar Street. The same was ordered returned. <br />
