Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (4) continued... <br /> the establishment of a five-member <br /> Architectural Review Board in order for the <br /> Commission to sell land in Ignition Park and <br /> to oversee any development of the park so <br /> that it meets the PUD requirements and the <br /> architectural guidelines. Four of the seats on <br /> the review board are appointed by the <br /> Commission.. At a recent Commission <br /> meeting, the Commission made three <br /> appointments to the board: the Executive <br /> j Director of Economic Development and the <br /> I Director of Ignition Park. Gary Gilot is the <br />� third position. One of the positions of the five <br /> is to be an appointment by the Common <br /> Council, Tim Rouse. There is, then, one <br />' remaining appointment to be made by the <br />� <br /> I' Commission. Staff recommends Doug <br /> Marsh for that position. Doug is a South <br />� <br /> Bend native who graduated from Notre <br /> Dame in 1982. He was in the private sector <br /> for about 13 years as an architect and then <br /> joined Notre Dame. During his tenure at <br /> Notre Dame, he's been responsible for the <br /> development for the planning design <br /> construction of about 27 new projects, for the <br /> renovation of 26 substantial projects, all of <br /> that being worth about $600,000,000. He's <br /> responsible for maintaining about 9,000,000 <br /> square feet of space. Ms. Hathaway said staff <br /> feels very fortunate to be able to bring <br /> forward a person of his qualifications for a <br /> position on the Architecture Review Board <br /> and asks for approval of Doug Marsh. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO.2848 <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the APPOINTING DOUG MARSH TO THE <br /> ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD <br /> 16 <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br /> i <br />
