Obviously we make
it our mission to reflect the values of our mission statement. This is how we go about making
sure we accomplish our mission and that our residents receive the highest quality of care. By
having an inclusive and transparent government,we are investing in both people and places
across the City. Approximately ninety percent(90%) of the proposed increase in expenditures
are due to rising personnel costs as well as a proposed paid intern system. We want to make sure
the opportunities we present are paid. Not every student has the ability to take time off from
work during summers and we want to reflect the opportunities offered elsewhere. The other
increase is the changing of a part-time secretary to a part-time project manager.
