The purchase was made from �cherc�an-Schaus ?:�otor Company after rec iving bids from them and from the �ayers-Scovill Company, Cin innati, Ohio , cvhose bid was ;�3450.Od but the Roard decided to ive the local Company the contract for the reason that Say rs-Scovill Company' s bid did not comply r�ith t�e Board ' s spe ifications.
