Hi�tt was <br /> appointed special police o�ficer to act in the capaeity oP detective <br /> at Geo. ;�yman & Company store. This commission sub�ject to cancella- <br /> tion at any time. <br /> On motion of P1�r. Gadacz and second by "�'r. Long, Chas. Farkas <br /> was appointed to the Police Department and ,upon recommendation of <br /> Chief Lenon, will begin duties �;'.arch l, 1930. <br /> P.�:r. Budd complimented Chief Lenon on the increased eYficiency <br /> of traffic. . <br /> It was decided by the Board that R�r. Long and Cap' t Raymond <br /> would thake a survey of traffic in the loop, Tuesday mornin�. <br /> Application o� "'lard H. Evans was presented and ordered <br /> placed on �ile. <br /> A petition for a stop street at Dubail and High Streets <br /> was presented and ordered placed on file. <br /> Request from Studebaker Corporation for a �ifteen minute <br /> parking zone at Lafayette and Sotzth Streets ��ras considered <br /> by the Board , but deferred to a later date. <br /> Application o� Indiana Cab Company for a Cab Stand on East <br /> side of S. tf�ichigan Street �vas refused by the Board. <br /> On motion of r�Tr. Gadaez, second by ��ir. Zon�, R. E. Heeter, � <br /> `i�l. F. Lightner, ?aJ. N. Buchanan and G. E. h�eyer, otherwi se known <br /> as Sedan Cab Compan,q were granted a one-Cab Stand at 124 ;J. <br /> Col�ax Avenue. <br /> � On motion of ?:'r. Long, second by tFr. Gadacz the Yellow Cab <br /> Company was assigned a 3-Cab Stand at 5outhern Hotel. Said Stanc� <br /> formerly assigned to Indiana Cab Company, was revoked after <br /> receiving letter from Southern Hotel and the consent of Ind iana • <br /> Cab Company. <br /> On motion o£ ���r.
