Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br /> There was no business in the Northeast <br /> Neighborhood Development Area. <br /> J. Douglas Road Economic Development Area <br /> There was no business in the Douglas Road <br /> Economic Development Area. <br /> K. Proposal for professional services in the South <br /> Bend Central Development Area. (Appraisal of <br /> College Football Hall of Fame) <br /> Mr. Inks noted that we need to get a second <br /> appraisal of the College Football Hall of Fame. <br /> Jerome Michaels has submitted a proposal to <br /> perform that appraisal for a fee of$4,500. Staff <br /> recommends accepting that proposal. <br /> Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by Mr. COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br /> Downes and unanimously carried, the Commission JEROME MICHAELS FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> accepted the proposal from Jerome Michaels for AND FEE PROPOSED <br /> the scope of services and fee proposed. <br /> 7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br /> Mr. Inks noted that the Common Council passed an PROGRESS REPORTS <br /> ordinance requiring sidewalk shoveling. In the past the <br /> Commission-owned properties were mostly commercial <br /> and snow shoveling was not as much of a problem. <br /> Lately, the Commission has been acquiring a number of <br /> properties, many of them in residential areas.
