b <br />December 9, 1929. <br />Regular meeting held in the Board of Safety office Monday <br />afternoon at 4 p.m. All members present with the exceptmon of <br />Prest. Engeldrum. <br />Fire Department. <br />I.Totion prevailed that bills be paid and requisitions signed. <br />11otion prevailed that the applications of Basiel VanHoe, <br />Julius Bukowski and Ray McNeff be placed on file. <br />Weights and Measures. <br />Motion prevailed that requisitions bn approved and bills <br />be paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the report of the city sealer be <br />placed on file. <br />Electrical Department. <br />Motion prevailed that requisitions be signed and <br />bills ordered paid. <br />Police Department. <br />Motion prevailed that requisitions be signed and <br />bills ordered paid. <br />Report of the Clerk on the settlement of a uniform <br />aacount with former officer William Szamanski was accepted and <br />Clerk ordered to settle the matter with A.G. Mier and Company. <br />Letter from the Studebaker Corporation was referred to <br />Mr. Qualls of the Electrical Department for action. <br />On, motion of Dr. Johnston 'Officer Fred. DeLee was <br />commended for meritorious service and a report of the incident made <br />by Chief Hatt was ordered placed on file. <br />Ilotion prevailed to accept and place on file the <br />following applications: Floyd Butts, Frank Krecomer, Emery <br />Bondreau, Ernest DeWachter. <br />7 Lotion prevailed that applications for taxicab <br />dtands should be considered for at least another week before <br />alloting any definite spaces. <br />Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Mrs. Evans, <br />policewoman be.placed on file. <br />k66 Lotion prevailed that the commissions of special <br />officers appointed by Chief Hatt without salary for the <br />Christmas holidays.be approved. <br />IIT <br />luotion prevailed to adjourn at 6 p.m. <br />Vice-President Vice-Presi(lent Board of safety. <br />Attest 4, .
