b December 9, 1929. Regular meeting held in the Board of Safety office Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. All members present with the exceptmon of Prest. Engeldrum. Fire Department. I.Totion prevailed that bills be paid and requisitions signed. 11otion prevailed that the applications of Basiel VanHoe, Julius Bukowski and Ray McNeff be placed on file. Weights and Measures. Motion prevailed that requisitions bn approved and bills be paid. Motion prevailed that the report of the city sealer be placed on file. Electrical Department. Motion prevailed that requisitions be signed and bills ordered paid. Police Department. Motion prevailed that requisitions be signed and bills ordered paid. Report of the Clerk on the settlement of a uniform aacount with former officer William Szamanski was accepted and Clerk ordered to settle the matter with A.G. Mier and Company. Letter from the Studebaker Corporation was referred to Mr. Qualls of the Electrical Department for action. On, motion of Dr. Johnston 'Officer Fred. DeLee was commended for meritorious service and a report of the incident made by Chief Hatt was ordered placed on file. Ilotion prevailed to accept and place on file the following applications: Floyd Butts, Frank Krecomer, Emery Bondreau, Ernest DeWachter. 7 Lotion prevailed that applications for taxicab dtands should be considered for at least another week before alloting any definite spaces. Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Mrs. Evans, policewoman be.placed on file. k66 Lotion prevailed that the commissions of special officers appointed by Chief Hatt without salary for the Christmas holidays.be approved.
