Z <br />Special Meeting November 27 in the Board of Public <br />Safety offices called to order at 10 a.m. by vice - President <br />Earl E. Reeder. Ivir. Engeldrum was unable to attend the meeting. <br />Dr. Johnston was present. <br />Mr. Reeder ordered the clerk to notify all bidders for <br />1,000 feet of fire hose to attend the meeting for the tabulation <br />of the various bids <br />Three sealed bids were opened and the clerk made the <br />following tabulation: <br />U.S. Rubber Company: <br />Rggular brand N. Rubber Comaany <br />thhn explained the-quality of hose which his firm could <br />furnish and Dittmier explained the bid of the Hamilton firm <br />and Hull explained the Manhatten bid. <br />On motion of Dr. Joshnston and a confirmation <br />by Mr. Reeder the contract was awarded to the Hamilton <br />Rubber Mfg. Company for Hamilton hose and the bid of X1,00 <br />was accepted. The Clerk was ordered to issue requisition <br />for same. <br />Following the awarding of the contract the <br />Board of Safety passed a motion to instruct the Supt . of the <br />Electrical department to co- operate with other City Departments <br />in the decorating of the city parks, bridges and municipal <br />buildings for the Chrietama$ season. Colored lights to be <br />placed on bridges and in the parks and at any other places <br />the various departments may deem adviseable. <br />Motion prevailed to- adjourn at 11 :30 a.m. <br />/= <br />Signed` �', <br />ce- Pres.
