7.8 <br />The regualr weekly meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held <br />in the Boards Office <br />Monday, July 29th., 1929 <br />Meeting was called to order at 4 :o5 P.M. by Pres. Engeldrum. <br />All members were pf3esent. <br />Minutes of the last regular weekly meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the the contaact for coal for the Police and <br />Fire Alarm Station and the Fire Stations be awarded to Knoblock <br />& via.rtin for approximately 301 ton of O'Gara Mine r 1 Saline- County <br />Ill. 6x3 egg coal at X5.05 per ton , <br />ELECTRICU DEPT. <br />Electrival Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />140tion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the <br />past week be approved and ordered pa.leed on file. <br />J <br />Motion prevailed that Supt. Qualls be instructed to turn the Auto- <br />matic Traffic Signals off at 12 Oclock Midnight in place of 11 :00 P.ri. <br />DEPT. OF HEIGHTS & i:'IEASURES <br />City Sealers bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns for I <br />the week ending July 27th. be approved and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were. approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the application of Eddie H.
