1 <br />The r gular weekly meeting of the Board of Public Safety was <br />held fn the Boards Office <br />Monday July 8th., 1929 <br />Meeti g was called to order at 4 :o8 by Pres. Engeldrum <br />All m mbers were present <br />Minut +s of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and orderdd paid. <br />Motion prevailed that Chief Knoblock be ordered to go to Detroit <br />to pr cure parts for Fire Dept. trucks . <br />5 <br />ELECTRICAL DEPT. <br />Elect ical Dept. bills were approved and orderdd paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the regular weekly report of Supt. Qualls <br />for the past week be approved and ordered placed on file <br />Motion prevailed that automatin traffic signals be erected at Ewing <br />Ave. cLncL Miami St.; also at William St. and cColfax Ave. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES <br />City Sealers bills were approved and — ordered paid. <br />Motio prevailed that the regular weekly report of City Sealer Burns <br />for t e past week be approved and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the no parking restrictions on the East side <br />of Cushing St. between LaSalle Ave. and L.W.West be ammended to <br />read from Oak St. to L.W.West. <br />Motion prevailed that Howard St. be desiginated as a preferential <br />street at its intersection with Niles AAve. <br />Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5 :25 P.M. <br />Attest <br />J'lerk, j <br />Dard of Public Safety P es.
