58 The regular weekly me;-Iting of the - ,Board of•Publia Safety was held in <br />the Board of Public Safety Office <br />Monday February 25th., 1929 <br />Meeting was called to order at 4 :15 P.M. by President Engeldrum. <br />Mr. Johnston was not present. <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting were read end approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />I'lotion prevailed that the application of Arthur P. Hunt be approved <br />and ordered paleed on file. <br />On a motion by Mr. Iteeder and a. second by President Engeldi•um Gust <br />Robert Horvath, and Michael Ja.ckey were appointed as members of the <br />Fire Lept. and Lieut Charles DeVlees chower be promoted to the rank <br />of Capt. and Hubert Rozewicz, and Albert Lederer be promoted to the <br />rank of Lieut. <br />Appointments and promotions be be effective March 1st. 1929. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPT. <br />Electrical Lept. bills were approved and ordered apid. <br />Motion prevailed that the weekly resort of Supt. Uua.11s for the <br />week ending Feb. 24th. be accepted and ordered pdeed on file. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGHTS AIVD Measures <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved and rrdered paid. <br />I:lotion prevailed that he Official Bond of Officer Ralph Light be <br />approved nameing the Employers Liability As�,,ura.nce Corp. as surety. <br />11otion prevailed that Olive St. be made a preferiential traffic <br />street at its intersection with ;'l.
