Tha regular weekly meetin g of the Board of Public Safety was held in the Board of Public Safety Office Monday December 10th., 19218 Meeting was called to order at 4:05 P.M. by P.resident Engeldrum All members were present. Minutes of the last regular meeting wer-e read and approved. FIRE DEPT. Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. ELECTRICAL, DEPT.. Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the vie ek ending December 9th. be accepted and ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that Supt. (,ua.11s be instructed to co- operate with the Park Board to decorating parks and bridges for the Xmas Season. DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES City Sealers bills were approved and ordered paid. POLICE DEBT. L Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. A Detition was received from the Downey Flake & Lunch Shop for a, load - ing zone at 105 W. Jefferson Blvd. Motion prevailed that this petition be held up until Spring. Motion prevailed tha.t,a, Z2foot loading zone be established on the Side of Colfax Ave.`,a1'ong side of the Block & Keuhl Lepa.rtment Store Chief L.J.Lane and Mr. Jay White of the Studebaker Corp. appeared before the Board requesting; that some sort of parking arrangments,be, made for in front of the Studebaker Sew Engineering Dept.. Bldg. on the W 1~ W6.st side o f the 400 block West Sample St. • that would enable parties having buisness to transact.with the Stizdeba.ker`Engineering Dept to find a. place to park. Motion prevailed that be instructed to investigate these conditions, .:; and be able to offer a recommendation as to the solution of this prob- lem at the next regular meeting of the Board lilotion prevailed to adjourn. at 5:35 P.TvTL.
