The regular weekly' ".meeting of the Board of public Safety <br />was held <br />in the Boards: Office <br />Monday November 5th., 1928 <br />Meeting was calledto order at 4 :15 P.M. by President Engeldrum. <br />Mr. Reeder was not present <br />Minutes of the last reg�zlar meeting were r•6a "d and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the application of Clayton Taylor be accepted <br />an ordered paid.. <br />Due o the absence of Chief Knoblock on account of sickness motion <br />preva led that the awarding of the contract "for fire hose on bids <br />receiv,d on October 15th. 1928 be prosponed until some -time later <br />in the week at which time Chief Knoblock is expected to be able to <br />attend. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPT. <br />Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the week <br />ending November 4th., 1928 be accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the applications of Steve Paulinski, Fred C. :.., <br />Fred C. Thursday November 8th., 1928 <br />in the Board of Public Safety Office.for the purpose of leaving contract <br />for fire hose. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Engeldrum at 10 :15 A.Ivi. <br />All members were present. <br />Chief'Knoblock was present <br />Upon a motion by Dr. Johnson and a. second by Mr. Reeder contract'was <br />awarded to the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co of Passaic N.J. for 1,000 feet <br />22 inch'Fulton Special, double jacket fire hose with rocker lug couplings <br />at $1.15 per foot. F.O.B.
