The regular weekly meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held in <br />Boards Office <br />Tuesday October 23rd., 1928. <br />Meetigg was called to order by Vice President Earl R. Reeder at 4:00 <br />P.M. <br />Mr. Engeldrum was not present. <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />J <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />A contract,a.copy of which is on file in this office, between the City <br />of South Bend, and the Town of Roseland for Fire protection to be given <br />` to the Town of Roseland for a period of three years beginning November <br />loth., 1928 was signed by the membef°s of the Board, and ordered sent to <br />the common council for approval. <br />The bids from the Hamilton Rubber Mfg..Co., Bi- Lateral Fire Hose Co., <br />and the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co. for, fire hose as advertised in the <br />news papers according to law wrre opened and tabulated. <br />Motion prevailed that in the absence;; of Fire Chief Knoblock the bids <br />be held over until the next regular meeting, and that a. copy of such bids <br />be kept on file in this office. <br />EI:ECTRICAIr DEPT`. <br />Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordte.re,d paid. <br />Motion prevailed that th_ weelKly report of Supt.
