The regular weekly meeting of the Board_of Public Safety was held <br />in the Boards Office <br />Monday .October -2nd., 1928 <br />Meeting was called j;o order- by Pres. Engeldrum at 4:05 P.M. <br />All members were present <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting •sere read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered.paid. <br />'lotion prevailed that Chief P..A.Knoblock be sent to the Annual <br />Convention of the.International Assn of Chiefs of Fire Depts. at <br />Philadellphia Pa. on October 17th. to 20th.:.invl. <br />ELECTRICAL DH' T. <br />Supt:' C,ualls at State Convention of Electricians at Indianapolis. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGHTS 8c MEASURES <br />City sealers bills were approved and ordea�ed paid. <br />Motion prevailed that Mr. Burn's weekly report for the past week be <br />approved and placed on file. <br />-s <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />- Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.` <br />Motion prevailed that the applications of Steve Hoffman, Oscar F. <br />done,s and Nelson K. Holderman be accepted and - ordered placed'on file. <br />Motion prevailed that the clerk be instructed to purchase Sam Brown <br />belts and gloves for all the motorcycle men on the Wept. <br />Motion prevailed that the following changes be made in the parking <br />regulations of fective as of this.date. <br />That there be no parking on the East side of Pills St., <br />That there be no parking onithe East side of William St. from Mash.
