Johnston the newly appointed member of the Board was prese t.,5 -f� <br />0 � <br />E <br />El.otion prevailed that the appointment of Dr. Johnson be ratified.AbW ORt 0 t -% <br />his bond in the sum of 03,000 be approved and filed with the City <br />Controller. <br />minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Moti6n prevailed that an a.d be published in the newspapers in ac.ord- <br />a.nce with the law advertising for bids for coal for the Fire Stations <br />and the Police and Fire Alarm Station. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPT. <br />Electrical Dept. bi--,_ls were approved and ordered paid. <br />Lotion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. walls for the week <br />ending June 17th. be accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGHTS a I'v1EASURES <br />Ylotion prevailed that the weekly report of 6ity Sealer Burns for the <br />week ending June 16th. be accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLIUE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered p&id. <br />.11otion prevailed that the petition. of .Bert Liss for a taxi stand in <br />front of his place of business at 105 E. LaSalle Ave. be denied oweing <br />to this location being on a very steep incline, and otherwise un- sa.tis- <br />factory as a, taxi stand. <br />Motion prevailed that the petition of Marry Zoss for a barber shop <br />advertising sign to be placed on a. Chicago So. Bend and Northern Ind. <br />Rail iay Co. pole at the approximate number of log W. Jefferson Blvd. <br />be denied bevaude of its being in violation of City Ordinance -rr 1769 Sec <br />3 38. <br />'Lotion prevailed that the petition of Paul E.
