i <br />i "a.fet waa held in the 3 :. <br />.,The regular meeting of the Board of Public.. : � - <br />Boards office Monday January 16th., 1928 <br />Meeting was c~alled'to order at 4 :1 P.M. by President Engeldrum <br />Mr. Ilicely was not ,present. <br />Minutes of the last regul.r meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the application of Peter Jakubowicz for re- <br />instatement on the Fire Dept. was approved and ordered placed on <br />file <br />ELECTRICAL, DEPT. <br />Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Notion prevailed that the w.ee s:ly' report of Supt. Qualls for the <br />proceeding tae accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES <br />Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Cijsjr Sealer B -4rns for the <br />proceeding week be approved and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved.and.ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the application of Joseph A. Labis be accepted <br />and ordered placed on fiH. <br />Motion prevailed that the resigination of Probation Officer Luther <br />lane from the Police Dept. due to an act of the 1927.Legislator <br />placing all Probation Officers and Court Officers on the Court <br />payroll and directly under the Courts jurisdiction be accepted. <br />Iiotion;Prevailed that bne additional motor cycles be purchased, and <br />that motorcycle J 7 be traded in for a new motorcycle. <br />Motion prevailed that Chief Hitt be instructed to make an extra <br />effort to check spe6ders and reik$less drivers. <br />Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5:15 P.M.. <br />Attest. <br />�• <br />Clerk, Board of Public Saf6ty <br />Presi A01, Boa/d;df Public Safety' <br />i <br />
