~ c L.Z~ <br />AMENDMENT TO LEASE BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND <br />A HOMESTEAD SHOPPE, INC. <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO LEASE ("Amendment') is made and entered into this 22°d day of <br />February, 2011, by and between THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, the <br />governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment (collectively the <br />'`Landlord"') and A HOMESTEAD SHOPPE, INC. (the "Tenant'). <br />WHEREAS, the Landlord and the Tenant are parties to an agreement entitled ``Lease'' dated <br />and made effective November 10, 2010, related to premises located at 123 South Michigan Street, <br />South Bend, Indiana, as more particularly described in the Lease; and <br />WHEREAS, the terns of the Lease expires on February 28, 201 1; and <br />WHEREAS, the Landlord and the Tenant desire to extend the term of the Lease for one (1) <br />month, expiring March 31, 201 l; and <br />WHEREAS, this Amendment is entered into as the ``Amendment to Lease" to modify the <br />terms and conditions of the Lease. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and obligations set forth <br />herein, the parties make this Amendment to Lease as follows: <br />1. Rent. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord the sum of ZERO Dollars ($0) per month <br />(the "Rent') on or before the first day of the month. <br />Utilities.: Tenant shall: (a) promptly pay all charges for sewer, water, gas, electricity, <br />telephone, and other utility services used in, on, at, or from, the Premises (all of which <br />utilities shall be separately metered to the Premises) ("Utility Charges''); and (b) deliver to <br />Landlord, upon demand, payment of the Utility Charges. <br />2. Each and every other provision of the Lease is hereby ratified, approved and affirmed <br />by the Parties. <br />3. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Amendment shall relate back to the date <br />of the execution of the Lease and that all remaining terms and conditions, as set forth in the Lease <br />
