South Bend Redevelopment Commmission <br />Regular Meeting -February 8, 20l 1 <br />Mr. Gibney noted that staff believes this new <br />building along Chapin Street, next to the <br />KROC Center, will be a great addition to the <br />industrial park as well as the corridor leading <br />to Ignition Park. <br />Mr. Downes asked how much more property <br />the Commission still owns in Oliver <br />Industrial Park. Mr. Gibney responded that <br />we have enough for about three more <br />buildings. <br />Mr. Alford asked what will become of the <br />building ABC is vacating on Western <br />Avenue. Mr. Jeciorski responded that they <br />lease their current building. The lease is <br />coming up for renewal and they want to <br />refresh their look. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission ratified Mr. Inks' signing the <br />tax abatement petition on behalf of the <br />Commission. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2842 <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 81$ Oliver <br />Plow Court in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission on behalf of <br />Oliver Plow Partners LP) <br />(3) Staff report on McCormick and Company <br />personal property abatement petition. <br />Mr. Inks noted that Commissioners received <br />this morning Resolution No. 284$ which <br />increases the personal property tax deduction <br />for McCormick and Company.
