� yr, <br />Police Department, Chief L. T. Lane present. <br />The matter formerly brought before the Board by 11r. Schricker <br />was discussed. It was decided to leave the matter rest for <br />another week to give the Chief an opportunity to personally <br />investigate. <br />In the matter of the Union Bus Lines, the Chief reported he <br />favored removing Bus Lines from Michigan St. The matter was <br />fully discussed, and as it seemed there might be some com- <br />plications arise if the parking privilege were rescinded, it <br />was decided that the Secretary be instructed to invite a <br />representative of the Bus Line to meet with the Board at <br />its next meeting. <br />The situation in connection tith.the Police Bond matter was <br />discussed. Definite decision on the matter was postponed <br />until a later meeting. <br />.Applications from several were received for the Police Dept. <br />.and were ordered placed on file. <br />.The Secretary offered competitive prices from five dealers <br />An Tires, E'ubes and Batteries, showing them to be the same. <br />It was decided to divide the patronage between them. <br />.Continuation Certificates on:the bonds of Edgard V. Morris <br />_was approved. <br />.The Official Bond of Kasimer P. Kubiak ,and of Harry T. Everett <br />both in the U. S. fidelity and Guaranty Co. of Baltimore <br />were approved. <br />A letter from Dick Johnson, complimenting the efficiency of <br />the Police force in bringing to justice a Harry Williams, <br />who had held him up at the point of a gun, was read. <br />The meeting adjournea at 11 :00 A.M. <br />C airman <br />Attest leov�L� <br />Clerk. <br />Addenda to proceedings of meeting of the <br />Board of Public Safety as of Jan. 21st,'1935. <br />Changes made in the Eleatrical Department as o 15th <br />were approved as follows: <br />Removed from the roll. <br />Dan, Kelley <br />17.
