May 12t h. ,1914. <br />In the matter of the petition -filed with the Board under date of August <br />�13th. 11914 for a pipeserer on Talbot Ave; ze fron South' Ben.d'Avenueto Howard' Street. <br />The Board instructed the Clerk to prepare a resolution on t'.Le same and set for a hearing. <br />Board ordered the Clerk to notify Hoban & Roach to reset the sewer: <br />connection at lot 54 Portage Park Addition as per specifications. The same to be com— <br />plied with not later than Three (3) days from servance of the notification. <br />Board ordered a resolution prepared for the Vacation of the First Alley <br />South of the proposed opneing of Calvert St-reett and set the saiie #or a hearing. <br />Excavation bond for One Thousand ($1,000.00)-ollars signed by The <br />Studebaker Corporation as principal and Nelson J. Riley and John F. Deacon as suteties <br />eras approved by the Board. <br />The following communication wLs received and placed on rile. <br />To the Honorable Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Ibdiana. <br />Gent lemenz r, _ <br />At the regular meeting of the Common Council held on Monday evening, <br />May llth, 1914, the following motions prevailed : <br />MOTION BY COUNCILMAN HAGERTY, (Verbal) <br />I move that the City Clerk request the Board of Public Works to instruct <br />the Cemetery Sexton to keep Cemetery Gates open until eight o' clock P.M. every night <br />until September lst. ,1914. <br />MOTION BY COUNCILMAN HAGERTY.
