SPECIAL MEETING 135 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was,held on Monday, <br />Nov. 5, 1934 at 4:00 P. M,, All members present. <br />Pres. Gadaoz announced the purpose of the meeting was to receive a <br />certain report from the Clerk regarding an accident in Whiting, Indiana <br />In which a car belonging to officer F. Miller and driven by Assistant <br />Chief Berner, allegedly figured. <br />The Clerk read his report exonerating the officers of all blame in the <br />matter-and the Board unanimously accepted same on motion by W. Frost <br />seconded,.by Mr.: McSorley., <br />On motion by t work four seconded by s extra on election each day andithe Chief <br />each police shift <br />was so instructed. <br />On motion by Mr. MoSorley, seconded by Mr. Gadacz the Clerk was <br />authorized to purchase two dozen new police clubs. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:46 P.
