t <br />SPECIAL " i <br />III T I G <br />A-special meeting .ofthe Board of Public Safety was held on Thursday <br />afternoon, $eptember,13, 1934, at 4:.00. All members present. <br />President Gadacz announced the purpose of the meeting to be a reconsidera- <br />tion of basis of filing police, fire and electrical department payrolls <br />on the basis of the now rates of pay as established by ordinance #3066 <br />of the Common Council. <br />The Clerk read a letter from the City Controller in which he states <br />that he considers the Ordinance illegal and has returned the payroll <br />lists made by the Board of Safety.' <br />City Attorney, Iden S. Romig, was called into the meeting and advised <br />the Board to file the payrolls according to the Ordinance and the <br />Clerk was instructed to do so. <br />of the complaint .of:lvb% hIcSorley that the holding of regular meetings <br />on Monday mornings would be of great inconvenience to him, it was <br />unanimously agreed to hold such meetings on Fridays at 2:00 P.
