REGULAR MEETING <br />-The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Saturday, <br />Tuly 14; 1934 at 2:00 P. Ni. All members present. <br />Minutes approved as read. <br />Bills bearing the following requisition numbers were approved: <br />02796 02794 07425 07242 07246 07270 072 ?4 07283 07394 07446 07456 07464 <br />07460 07 ^r,r 07466 0 ?4.73 02786 <br />and the claims of Indiana Bell Telephone Co. $8.80 and-$.155 and the <br />Western Union $2.25 and $1.45 a total of all bills of <br />1 <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT: <br />Fire Chief, Roy A. Knoblock, present anfl the activities of his denartr -tent <br />discussed. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPART ; F%TT: <br />Superitnendent, VJrn. F. Qualls, present. <br />POLICE DEPART 1ENT: <br />.Acting Chief, Horace ,-i. Hamilton, present. <br />Quotations on sirens read and the quotation of the Studebaker Sales Co. <br />for sirens at $25.00 each accepted. Motion by 1,r. Gadacz, seconded <br />by 1 \1r. MicSorley to aramend motion of last week authorizing the purchase <br />of four sirens to - -read nine sirens. <br />It was decided to make Birdsell St. a Stop street at Linden. <br />On motion by Mr. Trost, seconded by Mr. Gadatz it was decided to <br />discontinue keeping police officer at rtreet car station. <br />A copy of a citizen's complaint against Officer Schuttrow read. -It was <br />decided that the Board would take no action on the matter. <br />The Chief submitted a list of needed equipment for the department which <br />was requested by the f';ayor. The sane was approved by the Board and <br />directed to the;ayor. <br />The application of Glen Lee Approved and ordered placed on file. <br />WEIGHTS & 1JEASURES: <br />Report of City Sealer, Charles 1.
