The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was hold Saturday <br />March 10, 1934 at 2:00 P,.M-, with all members present. President <br />Valentine J. L. Mililiouse for March rent $50.00 <br />a. total of $727.81 for all claims. - <br />FIRE DEPARTIMENT: <br />Fire Chief, Roy A. Knbblock,0 was present and the activities of his <br />department were discussed. <br />Of. four bids submitted on a new boat, the bid of Becker & Sisson of <br />$48,00,being the lowest, was accepted an motion made by Mr. Trust and <br />seconded by Mr. McSorley­4 <br />on motion by Mr. McSorley, seconded by Mr. Trost and unanimously carried <br />the samples of shirt and tic submitted by the Fire Department were <br />approved as was the selection of the A. G. Meier & Co. as maker of <br />uniforms for the Fire Department. <br />The application of Anthony Kusnierek was approved. <br />POLICE DEPARTIENT: <br />Acting Chief, H. M. Hamilton, was present at the meeting. <br />On motion of Mr. Trost, seconded by Mr. McSorley and unanimously carried <br />the Chief was instructed to return the policy wheel and equipment to <br />its owner inasmuch as thewheel was in storage and not in operation when <br />picked up by the police. <br />On motion of Mr. n[cSorley, seconded by Mr. Trost and unanimously carried <br />the Chief was instructed to return slot machine to the Z. B. Falcon <br />Society as this machine was not in use but in storage when taken. <br />A communication from Mr. Hunter, postmaster, was read in which a request <br />for change in the parking plan was made. on motion by Mr. Trost, <br />seconded by.Mr. McSorley and unanimously carried the erection of such <br />signs as requested was approved and ordered the clerk to issue instruc- <br />tions to Capt. Hosinski to have regulations carried out to the letter. <br />95� <br />On motion by Mr. McSorley, seconded by Mr. Gadacz and unanimously carried <br />Edward Morris, present night captain, was demoted to the rank of patrolman <br />and Samuel Koczorowski patrolman, was promoted to the office of Captain, <br />Effective March 15, 194. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Inasmuch as Mr. Quills, superintendent, had notified the Board that he had <br />no new business to come before the meeting, his presence was dispensed with <br />WEIGHTS & 14EASURES: <br />The report --of—City Sealer, Charles J.
