REGULAR MEETING <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />January 220 1934. <br />Vice-President'Valantine J. Gadacz presided with Mr. William H. Kuespert, was presentl,, and the activities of <br />the Police Department were discussed. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Superintendent, Wm. qualls was present and discussed the activities of <br />his department of the past week. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURES, <br />The weekly report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burn8, was presented and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />City Controller, E..T. McErlain, was called into the meeting and°the <br />p ayment of previous years• bills was discussed with regard to the <br />application of payments of such bills to the various appropriations. <br />Mr. McErlain advised the Board to let the matter rest for a few days <br />at the end of which time he could more fully inform the Board as to <br />the proper procedure. <br />The meeting opened at 9:00 A.
