REGULAR MEETING <br />MONDAY, NOY PTBER 27th. 1 1933 <br />Regular meetinp of the Board of Public Safety was held on Yonday, November <br />27th . P 1933. <br />Yeetinp called to order by Er. C. A. Budd, President, at 9:10 A. Y. All <br />members present. <br />PCT-ICE DEPART17NT <br />Chief of Police, John F. Kuespert, reported the activities of his depart- <br />ment and presented a tentative police radio detail which was approved by <br />the Board, subject to miner chanVe which may be necessary. <br />A motion was made by Er. Gadacz, seconded by It Trost 'and unanimously <br />cerTied that the purchase of a Ford Car for the Police Department be made <br />from Holycross & Nye. <br />A representative of the Sta=te Treasury Department appeared before the Board <br />W questioned the services of the Police Department on checking up store <br />licenses. After discussing this matter, the Board informed the State <br />Treasury representative, that arrangements would be made by the Chief of <br />Police as soon as possible to assist with this work. <br />The application of Floyd A. Niland, 139 k Victoria Street, for position <br />on the Police Department, was ordered placed on file. <br />Special Police Commission� Commissions were pr . Pnted upon the application <br />of `;ears-Roebuck Company and the Oliver Farm Equipment Company. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief of the Fire Department , Roy A. Knoblock, was present nnf reported the <br />activities of his department for the past week. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTYENT <br />m - Ql-rlls, Sup er intend ent 9 was present and reported the activities of <br />his department for the past week. <br />WEIGFTS JOFD IMCFASURREES <br />The 7,reek!7 report of City Sealer, Charles J.
