below: <br />Introduction to the Equipment and Plant Tour <br />This will include an overview of the complete production <br />process from the arrival of the chassis to completed unit. <br />Viewing this production system will give the employees a <br />better understanding of the finished product. <br />Introduction to Operator's Manual <br />This will include a breakdown of each section of the manual, <br />operational controls, safety shut down, daily and weekly <br />maintenance, and trouble shooting. <br />In-house <br />Upon delivery of the unit to the City of South Bend, the <br />[YES/FO <br />Training: <br />successful bidder will provide a factory authorized trainer to <br />do on -street training for the operators. <br />This training will include a review of daily and weekly <br />maintenance and proper operations of this equipment. <br />Training will continue as long as the City of South Bend <br />deems necessary. The successful bidder will be responsible <br />for the cost of training the first five (5) days and the City will <br />pay a reasonable hourly rate for any additional training past <br />that time. Lodging and meals for the trainer are the <br />responsibility of the bidder. <br />Continued <br />Additional information and answers to questions from the <br />rYE'SNO <br />Training: <br />City shall be provided by the manufacturer for the life of the <br />*mmmmmp <br />machine at no cost to the City of South Bend. <br />Inspection and <br />The successful bidder shall arrange a final inspection of the <br />rY-E-S-*O <br />Delivery: <br />combination jet rodder/vacuum machine upon delivery with <br />'mmm"' <br />the manager of the City Equipment Services Division. If it is <br />found that the equipment does not conform to the <br />specifications as written, the City reserves the right not to <br />accept the unit until such time as all corrections have been <br />made by the bidder to meet the specifications. <br />Criteria for <br />The award of a contract pursuant to this specification, if any <br />r—yE-s7kqo <br />Award: <br />be made, will be made within thirty (30) calendar days after <br />the opening of the proposals to the lowest responsible and <br />responsive bidder whose proposal complies with all of the <br />requirements prescribed.
