1. PURPOSE
<br />The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("IUP") by the City is to solicit sealed proposals
<br />from qualified vendors to provide a Body Camera/ In -car video system, inclusive of all
<br />hardware, software licenses, data storage/ retrieval, warranty, installation/ training, support
<br />and multi- year discounts for a period of five (5) years for +/- 170 officers and +/-, 170
<br />vehicles,
<br />11. SCOPE OF WORK
<br />A. Requirements (Meeting Specifications)
<br />I . Body camera has the ability to offload video immediately to the In -Car Video
<br />Recorder via a secure WiFi connection between the Officer and Vehicle, whenever the
<br />Body Camera is within Willi proximity to the vehicle, to prevent the need to return to
<br />the station to manually offload video.

<br />2. The Body Camera and In -Car video system has the ability to offload video
<br />directly to a Departmentally approved access point from the vehicle or the body camera
<br />via a secure wireless connection and without the need for a hard -wired connection,
<br />physical docking of the camera, separate storage device, or 1JSB drive.

<br />3. Body camera has the option to offload video classified as 'high priority'
<br />immediately over a cellular network, either directly from the Body Camera, or via the
<br />Vehicle router, for immediate review and access by authorized parties within the

<br />4. Body camera supports wireless software update and configuration rule software
<br />changes, where the operation and capabilities can be changed for one Body camera, a
<br />group of Cameras, or all cameras for the Department.
<br />5. Body camera will come equipped with holster and battery unit.
