244 <br />Friday January 23rd. 1914 <br />Board met in special hearing at 7:45 P.M. Mr. Ernest M. Morris absent. Mr. A.H. <br />Rive acting President. <br />Hearing given on roll of wards and assessments of benefits 'in the matter <br />/of the extension and opening of Foster Street from Howard Street to St. Vincent Street <br />under Condemnation Resolution No. 26. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared but a written remonstrance <br />was filed. The Board find that the property mentioned in said rolls are benefited <br />and damaged respectively as shown in said roll and said roll is hereby in all things <br />ratified confirmed and approved and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 26 <br />is hereU concluded. <br />Hearing given on roll of awards of damages and assessments of benefits <br />in the matter of the Widening of Portage Avenue from North line of Morris Park Addi— <br />tion to North line of Section 34 N.R. 2 E. under CoAdemnation Resolution No. 27- <br />In the above matter no remonstrators_ appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed. The Board find that the property mentioned in said rolls are benefited and <br />damaged respectively as shown in said roll and said roll is hereby in all things rE.ti— <br />fied; confirmed and approved, and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 27 <br />is hereby concluded. <br />Bond and contract with guarantee included signe d by H.N. Barnes as <br />Prinicipal and the American Surety Company of New York as Sureties for Prick Pavement <br />on Ford Street from Arnold Street to I.I.&!. Ry. Under Improvement Resolution No.2193 <br />In the City of South Bend, Indiana, was approved by the Board. <br />Z����Acting �President. <br />
