240 Friday January 16th. 11914. Board met in special session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. Hearing given on assessment roll and final estimate for Dunham Street Sewer System,,on the following streets. Dunham Street, Fisher Street, Grant Street,, Lincoln Street, Pulaski Street, Kosciuszko Street, Harris Street,, Union Street, Jackson Street and Poland Streets, under Improvement Resolution No. 244. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed November 5th. 1913 is benefited in the amount of assessgients as show;L on said rolls filed November 5th-,1913 and the final estimate allowed November 5th.,1913 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved It is mutually agreed between the Board of Public Works and L.H.Webster Contractor, that the aforesaid contractor place on deposit with the Board, a certi— fied check to the amount of five hi Bred ($,500.00)Dollars until May lst.,1914 to insure a satisfactory completion of the work on the IXinhax Street sewer system acdording to the City Engineer's specifications. The Board instructed the City Engineer to report on the condition of the construction of the grade, curb and valk on Olive Street, and report the same to the Board Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. January ,20th-,1914. Board awarded contract for Brick pavement on Ford Street frDr. Arnold Street to I.I.& I.Ry. Co. under improvement Resolution No. 293. with Wabash Block to H. N. Barnes contractor, for the amount of ........ *.* ..... 16.09k,1-695.66 The Board by unanimous consent decided that meetings for the year of 1914 ✓ should be held at 10:30 A.M. on each Tuesday and Friday morning' Of the month, and the regular hearing of the Board should be he&d on each Tuesday night Of the month at 7:45 P.M. in the office of the.Board in the City Hail. resident. �
