All members present. <br />The following communication recei ved by the Board petitioning the Board for an ex— <br />tension of time. The same was approved by the Board. <br />To the Honorable Board of Public <br />Works, <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Gentlemen: — <br />We the undersigned Contractors hereby petition your Honorable Body,for an <br />extension of time on aur;Marion Street Brie Pavement contract,to May lst.,1914. <br />Also on Iroquois Street sewer contract, to June 1st. ,1914. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />HOBAN & ROACH <br />' By M. Michigan Eleetrie Company as follows:_ <br />To set two (2) —35' poles in the alley leading west from #1117 No. St. Louis Street. <br />One of these is to be on the corner of St. Louis and the alley and the other 120' west <br />of St. Louis Street, on the south side of the alley. This is for the conneetion of <br />customer at #1117 No. St. Louis Street. <br />✓ City Engineer instructed to establish a north and south street line of Washington <br />Avenue from the east Race to the St. Joseph River. Also to establisk the street line <br />of Ginz Avenue. <br />St. Commissioner ordered to build a wooden fence along Washington Avenue, from East <br />Race to St. Joseph River. <br />Mr. C. D.. Emmons Mgr. of the Chicago, South. Bend & Northern Indiana Ry. Company noti— <br />fied the Board that he would be unable to appear in regard to the fifteen minute <br />service on Chapin and Sample Street' life :extension on Union Street, but he would <br />appear Wednesday December 31st.2191•3• <br />
