He then gave
the floor to the presenter.
Bill No. 22-18- Alley Vacation- First North/South Alley West of Carroll Street, East of
Michigan St., South of Bronson St.,North of Penn Central Railroad
Bernie Feeney,715 S.Michigan Street,stated,The alley is highlighted in red(referencing a picture
available in the City Clerk's Office). The alley lies immediately West of the office building which
was formally Curtis Products. This makes the property that is being sold along with the office
building much more usable to the building itself. We will allow parking and other uses on the
property. This property comes to a point opposite the license branch and just before you go under
the viaduct on Bronson. It will make available a significant amount of property for the office
building to use.
Committee Chair Voorde then opened the floor to questions from the Committee and Council
Members.
Committeemember Gavin Ferlic asked, Is there an interested purchaser or are they just getting the
property ready?
Mr. Feeney replied, This is in conjunction with the sale.
INTEGRITY1 SERVICES ACCESSIBILITY
JENNIFER M.COFFMAN BLANCA L.Tn ADo JOSEPH R MOLNAR
CHIEF DEPUTY/DnU=OR OF OPERATIONS DEPuTY/D1RECrOR OF POLICY ORDINANCE VIOLATION CLERIC
EXCELLENCE I ACCOUNTABILITY( INNOVATION I INCLUSION EMPOWERMENT
455 County-City Building 1 227 W.Jefferson Blvd.I South Bend,Indiana 466011 p 574.235.92211 f 574.235.9173 1 www.southbendin.gov
