Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety, Monday, September 11th <br />1933. <br />Meet in - p caL led to order by Mr. C. A. Budd, President, at 9 -15 A. M. All <br />members present. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert, was present and reported the activities <br />of his department for the past week. Chief Kuespert presented the examina- <br />tion dieets for the police department, same were examined and placed on file. <br />Upon the motion of Mr. Gadacz, seconded by Mr. Trost, it was unanimously <br />4 . <br />decided to accept the resignation of officer Earl Null, same to be effective <br />as of September 9th., 1933, at midnight. <br />Special Police Commission was granted to Jack W. Lee, house detective for the <br />Oliver Hotel. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Chi of of Fire Depa rtment , Roy Knobloc k, ab sen t on a ccount of vacati on. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Wm. F. Qualls, superintendent, reported the activities of IT-i's department <br />for the past week. <br />WEIGHTS AND MEASURES <br />The weekly report of City Sealer, Charles,;. Burns was examined and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />A claim of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company for current from <br />July 9 to August 18th., 1933, in the sum of $37.85 was signed and approv- <br />ed by the Board. <br />Meeting adjourned at 11 -15 A.
