Mr. 'gym. H. <br />`frost who was out of the city was not present at this meeting <br />Bills in the amount of $1,409.07, bearing requisition numbers as <br />follows: <br />02473 024861 02472 <br />June 19 to July 19, 1933 Indiana & Michigan. Electric Go. 139.23 <br />Aug. 1, 1933 C. L. Millhouse 50.00 <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The Board unanimously agreed that North Wayne St, be made a prefer- <br />ential street at the intersection of Sunnyside Ave. The Board order- <br />ed "STOP" signs installed on Sunnyside Ave., at the intersection. of <br />North Wayne St. <br />The Board unanimously agreed that Lincoln �"Vay nest be made a prefer- <br />ential street at the intersection of LaSalle Ave. The Board ordered <br />a "STOP" sign installed on LaSalle Ave. at the intersection of Lincoln <br />Way Nest. <br />Chief John B. Kuespert presented the monthly report for his department <br />and also reported the activities for the past week. <br />Appliection of Harold H. Stanley was approved and ordered placed on <br />file. <br />The Board instructed the clerk to write a letter to the City Controller <br />informing h im that before preparing our 1934 Budget it will be neces <br />sary for him to advise us how he anticipates to absorbe the unpaid bills <br />up to and including Dec. 31, 1933. Officer Barany reported that bills <br />payable at this time amounts to approximately $10,506,00 «. <br />FIRE DE <br />Chief Roy A. Knoblock reported the activities of his department for the <br />past week. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />1 F. Qualls reported the activities of his department fdr the past <br />week. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURES DEPARTMENT <br />The weekly report of City Sealer Charles J.
