REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 24, 1933 <br />Ilegular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety, Monday, July 24, 19336 <br />Meeting called I to order by Mr. C. A. Budd, President, at 9-15 A. M. <br />Bills in the amount of $42.82, bearing requisitions as follows were approv <br />ed by the Board: <br />02445 02474 02352 <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The Board unanimously agreed that Lincoln Way East be made a preferential <br />street at the intersection of Miami Street and instructed thd Clerk of <br />the Board to have a STOP erected on Miami Street at Lincoln Way East* <br />The Board further ordered that STOP signs be painted on Sample Street on <br />both sides of the Studebaker driveways. <br />Chl( f Kuespert requested a leave of absence on August 1, 2 and 3, to <br />attend the International Convention ,of Chiefs to be held in Chicago. Board <br />unanimously agreed to grant Chief Kuesperts request. <br />Chief Kuespert recommended to the Board that, on account of the numerous <br />accidents to our motorcycle policemen, bars be attached on all motorcyles <br />similiar to those used. by the State Police.
