N. <br />POLICE DEPARTT:r11INT <br />Chief John B. Kuespert reported the activities of his department and.. further <br />stated that a request had been made by the St. Stenislaus p^rish to block <br />off Florence Avenue between Johnson �_nd. D e ld. Streets for a. street <br />carnival. The Board had no objections in this matter and instructed. Chief <br />Kuespert to refer the matter to the Board of Public Wcrks, underrhose <br />directi and jurisdition all streets and alleys are under. <br />FIRE DEP ARTIvIENT <br />Chief Roy A. Knoblock reported the activities of his department and further <br />reported that the fire hose purchased from the Johnson Rubber P <br />Corporation on lay 8th., and bray 26, 1933, were sat isfpctory -,nd in accord.- <br />ance with the specifications. TT th'e recomnen a_tion of Fixes Chief <br />Knoblock, the � of Public Safety unanimously agreed to officially <br />accept the above mentioned f i_ re- hose. <br />ELECTRICAL DE'PARTI_ UT <br />William F. Qualls, buperintendent, was present and reported - 'U - he activities <br />of his department for the past creek. <br />WEIGHTS AND IVEASURES <br />Meekly report of Cit Sealer, - Charles J.
