Weaver and Five others asking <br />for the pavement on Pennsylvania Avenue from Michigan Street to Miami. Street.The same <br />was read and placed onfile. <br />,/ Permission was granted the Centril Union Tel. Company to set poles as follows: - <br />one pole and one anchor in first alley north of Portage Avenue between Forest and <br />Lelan Avenues. <br />Two (2)-poles-and two (2) anchors on Fuerbringer Street between Cottage Grove and <br />Hacrrienn Avenues on south side of Fuerbringer street. <br />Two (2) poles and two (2) anenors in first alley southeast of Sancome <br />north and south between Van Buren Street and Michigan Avenue. <br />One (1) pole and one (1) anchor in first alley east of Taylor Street <br />Avenue and LaSalle Street, 2nd. alley. <br />Street running <br />between Michigan <br />an <br />The following communication was received from the International Harvester Company of <br />'l America and was read and referred to the City Engineer. <br />Board of Public Works. <br />South Bend, Indiana, <br />Gent 1 emen: - <br />We refer to the Harvester Building owned by Mr. H.L.Green,located at <br />Lafayette and Stull Streets. It is our wish to put -in a heavy cement foundation toped <br />with paving brick in our driveway from tract r shed to s6beet. To do this it is -nec- <br />essary to cross the sidewalk and cut the curbing. When tris job is finished we know <br />it will meet with your approval for we are putting; in a heavy foundation of cinders, <br />6 inches of cement and paving brick top. <br />On the Stull Street side of our platform it is out wish to put in a heavy <br />concrete between the present sidewalk and our building as well as out in the driveway <br />not already laid. We will not cut the curbing at this point. <br />We believe that Mr. Greene owner of the building had this matter up with <br />you in person tis morning.
