REGULAR IMM I NG <br />APRIL 24, 1933 <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Pub. lic Safety Monday, <br />April 24, 1933. <br />ifeeting called to order by Yr. C. A. Budd at 9 :20 A.Y. All <br />members present. <br />POLICE DEPARMIENT <br />The Board unanimously agreed to authorize Chief of Police <br />John B. Kuespert and Michael Barany, Clerk of the Board, to <br />appear before the Congressional Committee on the Interstate <br />Police Radio Bill. <br />Special police commissions of Harry E. j'jillion, ➢yle E. Beach <br />and Alva D. Bates were cancelled, effective this date. <br />Michael Barany,. Clerk, reported that the traffic lines in <br />the down town streets are now being painted and that the <br />down town district will be completed within two weeks. <br />FIRE DEPARTYMT <br />The Board instructed Fire Chief Roy A. Knoblock and 1 <br />Barany, Clerk of the Board, to advertise for bids for <br />fifteen feet (1510' of fire hose, as authorized at the <br />regular meeting of A ?arch 6, 1933. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARMTENT <br />William F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time <br />sheets and reported the activities of his department for <br />the past week. <br />WEIGHTS and RMASURES DEPARMTENT <br />Weekly report of City Sealer, Chas.
