Vu <br /> I <br />RLGULAR MEET ING <br />APRIL 3, 1933. <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday, <br />April 3. 1933. <br />Meeting called to order by Mr. C. A. Budd at 9 :20 A.M. All <br />members present. <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved. <br />Bills in the amount of $95.84, bearing requisition numbers <br />02402 02395 and 02398, were approved. <br />POLICE DEPARThr1ENT <br />Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert, presented monthly report <br />-for his department, also reported on the crime situation <br />stating that according to statistics the City of South Bend <br />is among those showing the least number of crimes in the <br />United States. <br />Special police commissions were granted to: <br />Frank Peters <br />Anton A. Tschida <br />J. Arthur Haley <br />Charles W. Bailey <br />Special police bonds of Frank Peters and Charles W. BaileX <br />with the Fidelity and Deposit. Company of Marylan were <br />approved. <br />Special police commissions of: <br />Chas. W. Miltenberger, 12/2/30 <br />Alvin A. Bailey, 3/3/30 <br />Robert Kizer, 1/24/30 <br />were cancelled effectivethis date. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief Roy A. Knoblock reported the activities of his depart- <br />ment for the past week. <br />EIECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />William F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time <br />sheets and reported the activities of his department for <br />the past week. <br />Michael Barany, Clerk, presented - receipt from the County <br />Treasurer in the amount of $22.93 covering one siren <br />damaged in an accident on Kenneth Logan's motorcycle which <br />was paid by the State Auto. Insurance Company of Indiana,. <br />WEIGHTS and .MEASURES DEPARTMENT <br />Weekly report of City Sealer„ Chas. J.
