REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 13 1933.. <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday, <br />March 13, 1933. <br />Meeting called to order by Mr. C. A. Budd at 9:05 0i' clock <br />A. It. All members present. <br />Minutes of last regular meeting read and approved. <br />Bills in the amount of 4499.62 approved bearing requisition <br />numbers as follows: <br />05985 05987 05982 05990 05986 05952 <br />05970 <br />POLICE DEPARMITIENT <br />On recommendation of Chief John B. Kuespert, the Board unan- <br />imously agreed to relieve the Police Department of dragging <br />the river "_ which was part of its duties heretofore. <br />Application of Stewart R. Ganser was approved and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />Police bond of Officer Kenneth Logan, dated Feb. 1, 1933, <br />with the Maryland Casualty Co., was approved and ordered <br />filed. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />The Board informed Fire Chief Roy A. Knoblock that the dragging <br />of the river, previously done by the Police Department, will <br />be transferred to his department and under his supervision <br />effective at once. The Board further informed Chief Knoblock <br />that the two boats used for this work will be in his custo*y <br />hereafter. <br />Application of Stewart R. Ganser was approved and ordered <br />filed. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Win. F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time sheets <br />and reported the activities of his department for the past <br />week. <br />.WEIGHTS and MEASURES DEPARTMENT <br />Weekly report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, _ was examined <br />and ordered filed. <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:00 o'clock A.M. <br />11 <br />
