Service. <br />On recommendation of Wm. H. Trost, Jr., the Board unanimously <br />agreed to make East Calvert Street a "STOP" street at the <br />intersection of Fellow and Calvert Streets. <br />Special police commission was granted to W. Niedbalski employ - <br />ed by the University of Notre Dame as night watchman. <br />Weekly.report of policewoman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, was examined <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />Michael Barany, Clerk, presented receipt in the amount of <br />$5.00 from County Treasurer for sale of an old motorcycle <br />sidecar which was sold on recommendation of Sergeant Bert <br />Olmstead and approval of Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert. <br />Chief Kuespert reported on the activities of his departmaz t <br />for the past week. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Fire Chief, Roy A. Knoblock reported on the activities of <br />his department for the past week. <br />Applications of Zygmund J, Paczkowski and Alex Niespodziany <br />were approved and ordered placed on file. <br />ET CTRICAL DEPARTITI N' <br />The Board and Mr. Wm. F. Qualls dontinued the discussion <br />of installing police radio system..
