REGULAR'MEETING <br />DECEMBER 5, 1932 <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday, <br />December 5, 1932. <br />Meeting called to order by Mr. C. A. Szymanski who was re- <br />tired on disahility pension, Aug. 12, 1929 , be rein- <br />stated effective January 1, 1933 to replace Charles Keller <br />who died December 3, 1932. <br />On recommendation of Chief John B. Kuespert, the Board <br />unanimously agreed to authorize him to purchase, from <br />Seherman- Schan.s- Freeman Company, three Roekne automobiles <br />and to trade in the three Fords now in use. <br />Monthly report of the police department presented by the <br />Chief, which was examined and ordered placed on file. <br />Weekly report of Policewoman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, presented, <br />approved and placed on file. <br />Police bonds of Donald L. Miller and Raymond H. Miller <br />who are employed by the N.S. Special P Service, were <br />approved by the Board. <br />Applications of Alex Nieszgodzki, Porter L. Kizer and <br />Bernard Co Newhart were approved and ordered placed on file. <br />FIRE . DEPARTMENT <br />Michael Barany, Clerk of the Board, presented Bond from <br />General Fire Truck Company, St. Louis, Mo. , in the amount <br />of $2,570.50, covering the contract for the 500- gallon <br />Pumper ordered by the Board from the above mentioned firm. <br />The Board instructed the Clerk to have City Attorney, <br />Walter L. Clements, approve said bond before accepting <br />same. <br />Applications of Horace E. McDonald and Modest Niezgodski <br />were approved and ordered placed on file. <br />Chief R. A. Knoblock reported on the activities of his <br />department for the past week. <br />
