REGULAR TFETING <br />NOVEMBER 28, 1932 <br />Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety :Monday, <br />November 28, 1932. <br />T- L�eeting called to order at 9 :15 A.ii. <br />Those in attendance were -Tr. C. A. Budd, Yr. Valentine J. Gadaez, <br />and Y'r. 13m. H. Trost, Jr. <br />.;Minutes of November 15th and November 21st were approved. <br />Bills in the amount of X137.80 were approved, bearing requisi- <br />tioxr numbered as follows: <br />02258 02271 02273 02263 <br />R. A. Knoblock 11/25/32 <br />Dr. E. E. Johnston 11/21/32 <br />POLICE DEPART. ", TT <br />Special police commissions were granted to: <br />Donald L. Hammer, 2124 S. Franklin St., N. S. Special Patrol Service. <br />Raymond H. 1Miller, 132 E. Keasey St., I.T. S. Special Patrol Service. <br />Charles Rost, 2817 S. 111ain 3t., Edwards Iron Works as Watchman. <br />Application of Julius Bolodar was approved and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />Michael Barany, Clerk, was authorized to purchase 12 automobile <br />tires and tubes, and 8 motorcycle tires, to be used during the <br />year of 1933. <br />FIRE DEP ARTTIETNT <br />On recommendation of Fire Chief R. A. Knoblock, motion was made <br />by T"r. Trost, seconded by IMr. Gadacz, and unanimously carried, <br />authorizing Chief Knoblock. to purchase the following supplies <br />and equipment: <br />18 Chairs <br />1 Rockne Automobile <br />6 Tarpaulins <br />60 Helmets <br />3 10' 5 Soft Suc ti on }Hose <br />4 Fire Extinguishers <br />Chief Knoblock presented report on the amount of damages from <br />fires which oceured during the months of August and September, <br />1932. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTI'TMTT <br />Mrs.. T$1m. F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time sheets <br />and report on tests made of fire alarm boxes. The latter <br />report being rejected for reasons that it was not specific. <br />1 1EIGHTS and I!EASURES DEPARTMMEAI "T <br />Charles J. Burns, City Sealer, presented weekly report which <br />was examined, approved and ordered placed on file. <br />
