T6 Board met in regular session at 10.000 A.M. Mri Lambert acting President. Mr. Bastian absent. `The Board had under consideration the assessment rollfor the Vacation of an alley inn. Kaulkfman' a Addition. All action on the same was deferred- until Wednesd€V October. 22nd 1913 at 10:00 A.M. ✓Mr. Lippman presented a plat of his Addition., All action on the same was deferred by the Board, until they could see Mr. Faerbrixger. - v-fVermissiox'wiasi granted the Indiana & Michigan. Elec. Company to set the following poles To set 4 - 35t poles on the west side of Walsh Street, between. Corby and Campeau Streets, for the connection of an arc lamp at Corby and Walsh Streets. To set one 35t pole on the west side of Arthur Street, about 190t north of Campau Street. Approved. The following communication received by the Board and approved. �Ionorable Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana. Gentlemen: - The Chicago, S^uth Bend and Northern Indiana Railway Company, hereby make request to the Board of Public Works of the City of Suth Bend, for a permit to set one iron pole on LaSalle Avenue near the intersection. of LaSalle Avenue and Michigan Street for the purpose of supporting trolley wire for the LaSalle Street extentiox. Approved About Twelve feet east of Michigan. Street and in line with poles on the bridge. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Brick Pavement 011 -... Kemble Avenue from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No.226 In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bead Daily News Times, commencing on the 27th. , day of October 1913, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in. the City :all on the 14th., day of November 1913. at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed.
