The t0gajar meeting of-the Board of Public Safety was held in the Boards Office Monday .De.oember 19th. 1927 Meeting was called to der at 4:10 P.X. Mr. Nicely was not presei2t. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved., FIRE DEPT. Motion prevailed that the-'applications of Lee Andrew Glen and.Frank Ernest Sergeant be approved and ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that salary of newly appointed Firemen be made $144. per month for their first 6 months service, and $150. per month for the second 6 months service effective Jan. lst., 1928. Sands who is acting as attorney for Officer Ray E. Kilo appeared before the Board and asked that the trial of Officer Kile be prosponed until 7:50 P.I. Motion prevailed. that his request be granted.
