The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held in the <br />Office Monday December 5th., 1927 <br />Meeting was called to order at 4;10 P.M. <br />All members were present <br />The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. <br />Electrical Dept. biiis were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the meekly reports of Supt. C,, a--Ls ar the <br />ending November 27th.., and December 4th., 1:27 be approved and ordered <br />placed on file, also the monthly report of Fire Alarms for the Month of <br />November 1y27. <br />DEPT. OF WEIGH TS & MEASURES <br />City Sealer s bills -we're approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed that the we:;kly reportsof City Sealer Burns for the <br />weeks ending November 26th., and December 3rd. be accepted and ordered <br />placed on file; also monthly report for the month of November 1927.. <br />POLICE D$PT. <br />Police Dept. bills were approved. end ordered paid. <br />Chief Hatt reported that he hed suspended Officer Ray Kile on November <br />30th. 1927. <br />Chief Hatt submitted charges charging Officer kile with neglect of <br />duty, and. reported that he had ordered Officer Kile to appear for,trial <br />before the Board of Public Safety on this date. <br />Attorney Geo. Schock appeared for Officer Kile and asked that the Trial, <br />be prosponed or continued until the next meeting on December 5th. <br />Idotion prevailed that A ttorney Schock's request ue granted, and case <br />be prosponed until Monday December 5th. <br />Motion prevailed that the applications of Willis W. MacCorkle, and Ralph <br />Edward Brockha.ns be accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />.Motion prevailed that a 30 foot loading zone be established beginning at <br />the west line of the lst. alley west of Michigan St. on the North side <br />of La.Selle Ave. <br />Motion prevailed that a. 20 foot loading zone be established on the South <br />side of E. LaSalle Ave. beside the General Merchantile Co.
